Data collected

We only collect the data you give us voluntarily in the appointment form: name, phone, email, reason for contact, preferred day or time and any message you choose to write. We do not ask for sensitive clinical information this way.

When you submit the form, your details are sent over an encrypted connection to this site's server, which forwards them to the clinic by email. The site does not store requests in a database. The site uses no analytics or advertising tools and builds no user profiles.

Purpose and legal basis

The data is used only to answer your request and book the appointment. The legal basis is the consent you give by submitting the form and the pre-contractual steps related to the request.

Retention period

Appointment requests and related correspondence are kept for 2 years after the last contact and then deleted. If the contact leads to a clinical record being opened, the data in it is governed by the legal retention periods for health records and, where applicable, for accounting documents.

Sharing and transfer of data

We do not sell or pass on personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be shared with service providers strictly necessary for running the clinic, who are bound by confidentiality.

The website and the mail server that forwards appointment requests are hosted by Hostinger. Email correspondence is handled through the email service the clinic uses, which may involve data being processed outside the European Economic Area. The map on the contact page is provided by Google and is only loaded after you allow it. The site's fonts are hosted on our own server, so simply visiting the pages does not send requests to third parties.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to its processing and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to tagides.sbe@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
